Van Gogh Collage Starry Night Inspiration

Description:

Van Gogh Collage: This artwork draws inspiration from Van Gogh. The process began with selecting a construction sheet of any color, followed by choosing tissue paper in a complementary hue, and finally, identifying a landscape design. Once the materials were chosen, the tissue paper was adhered to the construction sheet using paintbrushes and glue, allowing for an organic flow as determined by the artist. The final step involved cutting out the landscape form and affixing it to the prepared background.

Extension Activity:

An extension activity could be a 3D model. For older students, create three-dimensional models of "Starry Night." This project helps them understand perspective and depth, and can be a great way to explore the spatial aspects of Van Gogh's work.
